HMS Drill Team is composed of 3 different parts. Armed Regulation/Exhibition, Unarmed Regulation/Exhibition, and Honor Guard. Each one is unique and fun in its own way. Armed Regulation/ Exhibition takes part with rifles for performance and show. They wow the crowd and show up during events such as Family Fun Night, Middle School Drill Competition, and the Fourth of July. Unarmed Regulation occurs during competitions like the Middle School Drill Competition. Unarmed Exhibition is like Armed Regulation and Exhibition, it's for show. They do moves that amaze the audience and exceed their expectations. Like all Leadership Corps. there are cadet leaders.
2016-17 Leadership cadets are Armed Commander: C/PFC. Ruiz, Unarmed Commander: C/PFC. Gatbonton, Honor Guard Commander: C/PFC. Biscocho, Squad Leaders: 1st) C/PFC. Ngewakl, 2nd) C/PFC. Villas, 3rd) C/PFC. Satur, 4th) C/PFC. Songsong, Assistant Commander of Cadets: C/CPL. Carag and C/CPL. De Belen, and lastly Commander of Cadets is C/CPL. Quiambao. The rest of the cadets are C/PVT. Quilantang, C/PVT. Metran, C/PVT. Ngewakl, C/PFC. Banez, C/PFC. Asistores, C/PFC. Deng, C/PFC. Nelmida, C/PFC. Salamat, and C/PFC. Marzo.
Most of these cadets started out with zero knowledge about what a Drill Team does. However, some of them have climbed through the ranks and displayed excellent leadership skills and disciplinary actions. They do what is right without being told, even if their deeds go unnoticed. Doing what is right and just is what this is about. Everyone is equal (excluding rank) and we treat each other with respect.
